What we do

What this work involves

Steps and entrances get daily use and set the tone for the whole property. We consider the approach, footing, rise and adjacent surfaces so the finished entry feels cohesive and practical.

  • Entry and approach planning
  • Stone steps and stoops
  • Tread and landing details
  • Walkway connections
  • Existing entry repairs
  • Finish and material selection

Project planning

Defining the right scope

Entry work begins with the route to the door, changes in elevation and existing landings. Explain whether you want a repair, replacement or a new approach. Material selection should be discussed alongside daily access and the connection to adjoining paths.

Preparation & site considerations

Treads, risers, support conditions and water runoff affect the project. Railings, permits and any applicable requirements need consideration for the actual entrance. Existing movement or loose stone may require more than a cosmetic surface repair.
