What we do
What this work involves
A retaining wall has a job to do beyond looking good. We look at the slope, soil, water movement and access before discussing wall placement, materials and the preparation the site needs.
- Slope and site assessment
- Wall layout and material discussion
- Drainage considerations
- Base preparation
- Garden and landscape walls
- Repairs to existing walls

Project planning
Defining the right scope
Retaining walls should be considered in relation to the slope they support and the use of the area above and below. Share approximate height, signs of movement and nearby structures. Landscape borders and walls supporting larger loads are not interchangeable projects.
Preparation & site considerations
Soil conditions, base preparation and drainage influence the plan. Boundaries, access and any engineering or permit needs should be reviewed before agreeing a construction scope. A photograph is useful context but cannot confirm structural adequacy or the cause of a failing wall.
